1 After a thrilling a Jugalbandhi with the talented Purbayan Chatterji(Sitar) in Mainz for the German Radio, Germany, Jayanthi and her ensemble went on to perform at the prestigious Music Guimet in Paris. The concert was sold out one week before the actual show and the packed hall gave ovation after ovation.

2 After performing in various parts of France and again Germany, Jayanthi and her ensemble went over to Switzerland She was accompanied by Neyveli Narayanan on the Mridangam and Sukanya Ramgopal on the Ghatam.

3 Veenai Jayanthi then performed in various prestigious centres in the United States along with Pt.Gaurav Mazumdar (sitar) in the Veena Sitar Jugalbandhi concerts.

4 Jayanthi had performed for the World Music centre at Symphony space, New York in May this year. This was a sold out concert too and she won rave reviews.

5 The duo had performed very successfully in the United States in spring this year and their encore tour in fall this year was equally successful tour. Their Band was called “Amalgamation of strings”.
